We went on a residential trip along with the P6s from The Foxes and the Squirrels classes. Below is our display board with our reports and accounts of our activities. More pictures below.
Below are activities from our P6 class of 2021-22
Reading Targets for Term 1 achieved
Each child in the P6 class was set a reading target of the number of words to aim to have read by the end of December and the first term. The children below did very well an achieved their target number of words. Some children beat their target by a large margin.
Well done to everyone and to all the children in the class who have been working hard on their reading.

Our Trips to Strangford Activity Centre & Delamont Outdoor Education Centre
The P6 children from P6, The Squirrels and the Foxes thoroughly enjoyed their day out at The Strangford Lough Activity Centre.
They had superb weather and really enjoyed the Lazer Tag in the lovely forest area and the first class Archery coaching at the centre.
This is Day 1 with more fun planned at Delamont on Wednesday. Everyone came home happy if a little tired with their face still covered in camo cream!
A big thank you to Rory and the guys for a super day and for Mrs Alexander , Mrs Thompson and Mrs McIntosh for supervising so well

Day 2- we had magnificent weather at Delamont Outdoor Education Centre for our second adventure.
Sailing combined with plenty of fast action in very fast RIBs! We sailed from Killyleagh and learned how to tack and steer our sail boats just off Salt Island.
We all had a great time and we had a lovely lunch then time to have a go at the play park before we went home!
Thanks again to all the school staff, the team from Delamont as well as James our driver from Ballyred Coach Company!
