NumBots! The programme is all about every child achieving the “triple win” of understanding, recall and fluency in mental addition and subtraction, so that they move from counting to calculating.
The children from P1 to P4 use a special app called Numbots to practise their subitising and number facts. There are 18 stages to complete encouraging accuracy and speed. Each game allows the children to complete stars. With three stars filled in this means that they are completing the game at a good pace. They earn points completing games and then can create their ultimate Numbot by buying parts using these points.
Children are encouraged to complete all stages at some time in P4 and this is an amazing achievement.
We love celebrating when the children reach the top three stages of gold, Platinum and Diamond.

ROCK WRANGLE!
Later in the school year we hold our ROCK WRANGLE. Children from The P5 to P7 Classes including the Squirrels and the Foxes can take part in a massive competition to find the Ultimate ROCK WRANGLE CHAMPION.
There are lots of House Points on offer to the finalists and the Champion.
