School Council
We have an active School Council working in school. The School Councillors are elected each year in P4, P5, P6, P7 and the Squirrels and Foxes classes.
The councillors work with two teachers on councillor-generated ideas to improve the school experience from the pupils' perspective. They help to plan and run school events during the year.

Our School Council were very fortunate to be invited by the School Coouncil of Moneyrea Primary School to go and visit their outdoor play area with its climbing frame. The councillors brought their clip boards and a series of deisgn and use questions to allow them to look and evaluate the frame. They also got the chance to try it out which was the best bit!
The school councillors were treated to a lovely snack and juice by the people at Moneyrea and we thank them very much for their kind hospitality.

The school has acted on the School Council's recommendation and the Governors and the PTA have kindly put funds into ordering a Galaxy Play Frame for our playground. It should be ready for use in the middle of the 2022-23 school year.
