Reading is a critical skill for a child's intellectual and emotional development.  Our children are encouraged to read from a wide range of sources and genres.  
The Accelerated Reader Programme allows the children to track their reading progress.  Once they read a book they can do a short quiz on the book and if they score well enough they earn the number of words that the book contains to add to their WORD COUNT TOTAL.
