Number Day & 100th Day at School

Each year the children start school in August and by the beginning of February they will have done 100 days at school.  By the end of the school year in June, if they did not miss a day then they will have 185 in the classroom.

We had to design, in our classes, the sort of school we would like to have in the future.  We called in Billy, the LAMP Youth Worker, to judge the designs.  He said that he had a very hard job as there were so many great ideas from all the classes!
  • P2 won in the Foundation Stage.
  • The Owls won in Key Stage 1.
  • P5 won in Key Stage Two.

100th Day at School in 2023

We had TWO Special Days - Number Day and then our 100th Day.
​We like to celebrate the 100th Day at Downpatrick Primary School by having 100 themed events.
This year we stepped back in time to see what school might have been like in 1923.
